Founded in 2007, MobGeo’s executive team has over 50 years combined experience in all aspects of the mobile industry from network operators, aggregators, service providers, social networks, large corporates and small businesses. We also have a deep understanding of CRM, and large ERP solutions.
Valde has spent 14 years in the Mobile industry. As managing Director for Prepaid, he led the commercial roll out for Vodac, South Africa. He immigrated to the UK in 1998 and spent ten years with Vodafone leading their Customer Services strategy in B2B, and the Device Strategy and Supply Chain for the UK and Group Company. Valde introduced and lead the UK Wholesale Strategic offensive as MD of UK Wholesale and most recently served as Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for Vodafone Romania with responsibility for over $1B in sales revenues.
Simon spent the dotcom years executing vertical integration strategies for AngloGold-Ashanti, JPMorgan and the world largest private refinery, PAMP/MKS Finance. This resulted in a live pricing, trading and physical delivery system for gold in all its forms and the launch of two multi-channel jewellery companies in the United States. His move to mobile occurred when friends at NYU built Socialight - the world’s first location based, mobile social network and he joined to commercialise the product. Having seen the potential for an interactive mobile channel, he founded MobGeo to develop commercial mobile technologies.
Sean has over ten years experience architecting, developing and deploying enterprise-level software. As lead developer at Demon Internet he implemented a complete redesign of their Windows email software. He led the design, development and deployment of a multi-billion-pound web trading platform for Winterflood Securities and is a recognised expert on web and network software development, having received accolades for his troubleshooting work on Apache Foundation software and having acted as technical editor on 'The Definitive Guide to Django', the core text of the Django web development platform. He created the core of the Chisimba web development framework which has contributed successfully to software engineering capacity-building in the developing world.
